Gen6 Need to know

I am looking into buying those new 2008 GS wheels I know they come stock with 245/40zr18 I need to know if those wheels will fit my 07 camry??? will there be any fitment issues?? any rubbing front or back? I was searching around and saw people talking about 225-45-18 and 235-45-18 but I want to see if the 245-40zr18 will fit....

thanks and sorry about the long question

yup it would fit no issues. 245/40/18 would be a good tire, just a tad bit smaller than oem stock diameter for the camry.

+1 Also because 245/40/18 is smaller in overall diameter so it will make the gap even bigger between the wheel wells and your tires. If you have lowered springs then it will be fine but it will look kinda weird with a huge gap!
Here are some pictures for comparison.

This is 245-40-18 with stock springs. Damn, that's a huge gap!!!

This is 235-45-18 with lowered springs.

I have 245/40-18's on mine -- Goodyear Eagle F1's. I didn't notice any rubbing until I installed the TRD springs. Now I do have a slight (and I emphasize slight) rubbing issue on the driver's side front when I make a complete turn of the wheel to the left (making a left-hand U turn). The rub removed some of the undercoating inside my wheel well. However, I just applied new undercoating and don't turn the wheel completely to the left. I love the look and handling of the 245's but if there is any dips or grooves in the road, these tires pull hard in the direction of the grooves/dips. As a result, I will most likely put 235's or 225's on it when I need new tires.

I hope this helps.
