is it worth it?

need an opinion.
is this worth it for what it is?
looking around 6ave electronics, salesman offered a deal to me

one jl audio 12" w6 sub in a sealed box for $450 original price is about $520
one jl audio mono 500/1 amp for $350 original price is about $570

this all brand new still in the box stuff, the salesman told me that the new product lines is out and they're trying to sell the old stuff at reduced prices.
of course there is w7 12" and w6 10" but still unsure.
not trying to overdue it gotta watch how much i spend, also want some trunk space so i think one 12" is good enough besides being broke if i go for two plus an amp.

yes i know there is a search function, yea it mostly falls on personal taste, and of course there is an audio section, but i need a quick opinion and audio section is kinda dead.
note there's only one amp left in the back room so kinda have to decide quick. please need opinions
thank you

i like the sq of the of the JL 12w6v2 better then w7. or you can get like a 6 channel amp and run component and a W3 series, there is also the new Jl sub Tw5, very thin!!
as for box, you can get a custom box fitted for your camry, i got my fitted and save lots of space.

damn the price of that w6 is EXPENSIVE. It should be in the range of 250-300 dollars.

a supported vender here on TN called Sonic Electronics is selling the w6v2 for 315 bucks.

personally, like the w3v2 the best though since it doesn't take much power to get moving, doesn't cost as much, and can sound great depending on your enclosure.

thanks for the feedback, custom enclosures i'm not worried. probably just drop one 12"
just is it worth it considering it's technically the older model but not by much. and feedback on the amp?
this sales guy said they would match anything online as long as they are authorize dealers but is sonicelectronix one? i know little about the website, just checked it now and yea it's cheaper there but no box. which isnt really a big deal but i know how a the right box will help get the best out of the sub.
maybe one 12" w7 but still kinda pricey dunno havent decide but hate to pass up a deal if it's good, not trying to go crazy with this system. try tomorrw see if 6ave will meet or beat sonicelectronix price.
sales guy was telling me blah blah story bout his truck with two 10" and two 12" and amp in the doors. saying he knows systems and that this a good deal, blah blah blah just trying to convince me.
dunno but thanks. more feedback please, i know jl audio is up there, probably better than my first choice of alpine type x 12".

Any website that sell JL audio product is not an AUTHORIZE dealer,
http://mobile.jlaudio.com/jlaudio_pages.php?page_id=111

as for the jl 500/1, it is a great amp and the best amp i ever owned, it prodoce more then 500 watts, it have been bench test at over 700watt rms.

sales guy alway try to get you to buy what they want, they don't care about you
