Help me out in what to say to dealer/service

I read a lot of threads about these common problems and i keep telling them to my dealer but im not good with words (and not aggressive) and they see that and keep telling me its normal when its not... this is my problem

What exactly is a flare? In my V6 Automatic 2007, i noticed sometimes when i brake and then accelerate lightly my RPM needle revs up to about 5k but my car doesn't go faster, it jerks forward a bit and then RPM drops back down quickly. Is this the flare ? I talked to the service department and they said it is trying to find the right gear? Also when I accelerate hard sometimes i hear and feel like a metal popping into place, it hestiates for quick second and then takes off, is this normal?

Also have you guys done anything with the interior noises....does the dealer have to fix this problem under warranty? My rear right vibrates like crazy, doors squeak like haunted houses and front dashboard clicks or ticks me to death !!! AHHH help me

I'm going to bring it to the dealership to get oil change...what should I say exactly so they will fix all these problems instead of blowing me off ( im not good with words so I always get screwed over and they never help me and say its normal)

PLEASE AND THANKS

Print out the pdf file of the TSB regarding the v6 tranny flare issue and bring it with you to the dealership and tell them that is exactly what you are experiencing. Also ask to have one of their tech's test drive the car with you so they can reproduce the flare.

If you don't want to get blown off, don't bring it in for an oil change then and ask them to check all of the things that you listed.

Make an APPOINTMENT to LEAVE your vehicle at the dealer for ALL of the things you mentioned. Also make a point that they have a Service Advisor, Service Manager, or Technician available when you drop off your vehicle so that you can show them/duplicate all of your concerns. If you can't duplicate it for them, don't expect them to find it.

The transmission problems you described sound like very normal things when you 'romp' on the accelerator. Go light with the gas. What you described is not the flare in the TSB. Search this group and You Tube for videos of the flare. It will be apparent that you are describing something else. As for the noises, there is a fix for the dash but some well placed foam rubber will do it faster and cheaper and nobody will have disassembled and them messed up the reassembly of the dash. Make an appointment and give them the list of problems. If you have a camera that can record video and sound then all the better. Save it all to a cd and give the cd to the service folks.

Yes they do. Even if they say they can't duplicate them, ask to take the service writter or one of the technicians for a ride so you can show them (actually have them hear) the noises.

If your dash noise is the common dash rattle problem described in the TSB, it usually only happens when the temperature is cold; say below 30 degrees F. It usually goes away when the interior warms up from the heater being on. That one will be hard to duplicate this time of year.
