Gen6 blue radio console :O

hey all finally got my bulb replacement so here are my pics :p

just took out the HVAC/radio buttons so its just the navi control unit

un did a few screws and a increase in vocabulary and i got a glimpse at the circuit board holding the lights more buttons so many buttons shesh

the shinny silvery looking pieces are what i unscrewed for final access to the lights

small ass buttons :p its a little different than netforcers since i have nav its a little longer button wise but same setup

like i said the buttos are tiny mfers

fyi to get the access to the lights you need to take out the wiring cable because its very fragile just pull it from the tabs on the left/right i just wiggled it out but be very careful ! this is how your buttons talk to your navigation/radio! sorry that its so fuzzy

NOW! for some HVAC PICS!

an even more vocabulary had to be spoken because i broke a plastic tab for the hvac but it wasnt important i thought it was :P finally got it out tho

these bad boys pop right on out if you push from the back hole where the red/white wiring is coming from remember to unplug the connector :b dont want to remove that :-)

these bastards are hard to get out i just use my RAW POWA! netforcer used a knife or something to poke the sides in but i didnt read that part so i
just used some choice words and a little elbow grease

finally got a look inside and the top light in the pic thats the light that turns on when you turn the rear defroster/AC on/Fan on light is pressed and the middle light is the knobs actual color i took the green tab off but it was there just like the radio lights :p

and that concludes this long ass post

omg almost forgot the money shot

its so much bluer than in the pic

btw thanks netforcer for the help :P

F'n sweet! Looks HOT! Too bad I dont have the skill. I have that feeling that if I take it apart, I'll break something and render it broken.

That's what I was doing...."white".

But I f'd up a part or two and had to order a whole new HVAC control. I didn't want to F it up again, so I never reattempted it.

I still have a sh*t load of the white led's for it too.
