Is my alarm screwed up?

I gotten camry se v6 yesterday with factory alarm installed. The blue light continue flashing even when driving. Is my alarm screwed up? I am assuming that the light supposed to flash only when it's armed and not all the time.? Am i correct in my assumption?

My alarm light is red, not blue, but I have an 07 so perhaps things there have changed. Mine will flash when the engine is off and parked, even if the alarm is not set. Nothing flashes when the car is running and in motion. Think I would ask the dealer about this one. A bit of a distraction, huh?

I swapped out my '07 to a blue light.

The light is supposed to go off when the cabin light comes on, the door is open, or the engine is running.

I would take it back to the dealer and make sure that the settings on the alarm is set up.

ye at night it's a distraction. During day don't notice it(reason why i didn't notice it right away) but was driving yesterday at night and light flashing every couple of second sure way of distracting a driver.

Supposedly here they come to your place and fix it on the spot. So going to give them a call tomorrow and schedule an appointment.

It should not come on or flash when the car is driving. Must be something wrong. Go check with your dealer.

Dealer did not correctly disconnect dealer alarm and it basically reason why it was flashing. Now it's working okay.
