I've been to my dealer regarding dash noise. I have an '07 Camry purchased in December 06. The dealer says the only parts specified in the TSB are the 5 clips that go toward the windshield; no mention of the Interior Noise Kit or the Wind Noise Kit. I don't see how these clips are going to fix anything given I can quiet some of the noise by pressing on the left side air duct as I'm driving. Does anyone have the text of the TSB or more information on this before I waste my time having this done multiple times?

TIA.

Eric

Your Dealer can't read then..........

They use foam and felt (from the kits) applied per pictures/illustrations in a number of places.

Or ask your dealer to print out a copy of the TSB for you.

They act like this is top secret double naught spy stuff. I'm having problems getting them to understand what the word "required" means when used in the heading "Required Tools & Equipment".

Try another dealer. Many are willing to work with their customers.

Hi. I have a 2007 camry. I bought it used a few months ago, and for the most part, i love it. Since i got the car, there has been a squeaking noise coming from the dashboard. So i researched the problem, and saw there was a TSB. So I called my dealer up, and they said they need to hear the noise to diagnose the problem. I fully understood that. They took it for a drive, heard the problem, and the next day they took my car for the day and fixed the problem. Note: the sound was coming from the passenger side. The next day Im driving the car, and I hear the same noise, but not from the passenger side. This time its coming from the drivers side. Annoyed, I call them back up, and they tell me to bring the car back so they can take it for a test drive to determine the problem.

So the next day they take it for a drive, and of course they hear the noise. So the next day i drop my car off for the day. I picked it up, and it was fine.....for a few days. After a few days the noise started yet again, but now its only 'sometimes'. So i called them again, and they told me to bring it by to hear the noise to determine the problem. So I did, and of course that day was a little warmer out, so they didnt hear anything, and said "there is nothing wrong with your vehicle."

So Im stumped as to what I should do now since the noise isnt occuring all the time now as it is getting warmer out. Any suggestions?

And on top of that, Im hearing a slight rattle where my odometer is (I think I saw a TSB for that), my brakes are making this high pitched noise and certain pressure points, and my driver side window/door is making this odd noise.

So any suggestions on what I should do would be welcomed.
