Is OEM Navigation Retrofittable?
I might do a little extra work over this summer and I'm considering either going for some wheels and tires, or the OEM Nav.
The wheels and tires have very little "objective use" as compared to the Nav, so I'm leaning towards the Nav.
Some questions:
1) Where can I get the OEM JBL Nav unit for the Gen6 Camry for cheap which will include all the necessary wires and crap? Local dealers want around $2500 for it installed.
2) I know I would go down to a 4-CD changer from the JBL's 6-CD, but do I lose any other functionality? Will my Bluetooth thing still work?
3) Where do you put the antenna?
4) I build and service computers for a living, so I think I can do the installation myself. In the past, I've done car audio before, and a sat-radio install. Am I correct to assume this can be done at home?
