2006 Nav system

All....I went searching here for info on whether or not it's possible to install an OEM nav system in the '06 Camry. Didn't really find much; most nav threads are in regard to the Gen 6 (and in particular the 2007 models).

I've bought a 2006SE w/o Nav and was wondering if I can install an OEM Nav system. Searched the net for info and there just doesn't seem to be much available...not even a source for the components needed. Makes me wonder if I should just go 3rd party with someone like JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, etc

So, my questions are:

1. Can you install an OEM Nav system into a 2006 Camry?
2. Where can you source the components
3. How much of a PITA is it? I've always installed stereos in my cars, myself (included my now-totaled '99 Camry) but never a system with NAV.

wow....60 views, no replies. taking that as a bad sign. guess I'll look into an aftermarket system.
