5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
We got it.. here are the photos. I'm not sure if the dark tint is factory or if the dealer did that but I like it.
Can't see it in the photo but it has the moonroof.
The wheels came from???? And which Camry gets the garage??
The dealer threw in the wheels for free because there was some slight hail damage. Both Camry get a garage ! We are selling the Tundra tomorrow. I just had it outside to take the photos in the natural light. You can't tell in the photo but the house has a two car garage.
I thought LE comes with hubcaps, no mudguards, and definitely no tinted windows from the factory too...
Anyways, looking good man! Congrats!
Thanks, I had the dealer swap out the wheels as part of the deal because of some slight hail damage, they had some in stock. Mudguards must have been added before we saw it. And yes, the tint was added by the dealer. May have been for a customer who didn't end up taking the car. Glad they passed, it was hard to find an LE with a moonroof in a color we liked. The tint and the little hail damage may be why it was still on the lot. It was the only one in the area with the exact features we wanted. It was less then 25k total with TTL and everything.
OK, after looking at the sticker the mudguards came with the silly Option package B with the trunk cargo net, security system upgrade etc. Oh well, It was still a good deal and the wife likes all that stuff.
unless this is a new wheel, the se has 6 spokes, "accessory" wheel had 7, xle/hybrid had 8
I can't find a web site that shows what the 09 wheel options are. I think they may have put old ones on there. That's not bad because I like them but I just wonder what the 09 16" wheels are supposed to look like.
My 07 has the same wheel and it is what GST calls the alloy wheel upgrade. The center hub is flat with the word Toyota etched on rather than a logo since they are non-Toyota wheels. Would be nice to get some Toyota logo caps but apparently they are an odd size and nothing fits?? Anyway, the wheels have held up well so far in two years of ownership. GST also has color keyed mud flaps, and if you ever have a Camry running through the soup like we do here you will grow to appreciate those little things.

So they are basically the SE wheels, except are 16" instead of 17", and are just replica's?
