Question Aurion and Camry mechanically similar?

Hi,
I have a 2007 Toyota Aurion Grande in Kuwait. I haven't been able to find good quality after market performance parts in Kuwait so I'm thinking of buying some TRD parts for the Camry from the US. I already have a forwarding address set up in the US so international shipping is not an issue.

What I want to clarify is that are the US Camry (Gen 6 V6) and the Aurion V6 similar enough under the skin to share parts?

what's your engine? 2gr-fe?
it should be similar since i know the camry and aurion are essentially the same mechanically. the only differences are the front and rear ends, maybe some stuff in the interior

Yeah, it;s the same car. Only difference is the front and rear facial of the cars. The Aurion body (front lights, bumper, hood. rear bumper, lights, trunk) will actually bolt onto a Camry. In Australia, there the Camry only comes in the 2AZ-FE I4 platform, and the Aurion only comes in the 2GR-FE V6 platform. But yeah, underneith the skin, it;s the same car.

Thanks for the replys.

Yeah moky it is a 2gr-fe.

Ture ASG14. Its the same case here in Kuwait. Camrys are I4 ONLY and Aurions are V6 ONLY. Cars in Kuwait are left hand drive so the interior is more like the US Camry rather than the Ausie Aurion especially the dash.

I REALLY wish they'd have given us the Aurion too. Maybe we'll both get luckey and get the SuperCharger for the TRD Aurion in Australia one day.
