Hey guys
I need some advice. I have found an '08 XLE at my local dealership. It is the last '08 on the lot. It has about 300 miles on it and they have heavily discounted it to the tune of 7k below sticker. I am really thinking about going after it. Any thoughts as to why I shouldn't do this? Is it too good to be true? Should I hold off and go for an '09?
Their is really no difference to an '09 other than the potential resale as you can claim a newer model year. If the car is what you like and you got a great deal - why not!? I doubt you get that much discount on a 09 model year.
What is the price that they are willing to sell it at, and what are the options?
I haven't gotten down to haggaling with them yet. I am not sure exactly what you are asking about when you say 'what are the options'. Can you rephrase that?

If you like the car, if the car fits your needs/life style. If you can afford it, fits your budget. I would say go for it too. Thats what I did, when I totaled my Altima at the end of April. I looked around at the all the midsize cars, ie
Ford Fusion,Mazda6,Nissan Altima etc. And I liked the looks and the ride of the Camry SE out of all of them and pulled the trigger and bought the Camry
and have been happy for the 4 weeks that I have owned it.

Before any haggling, what is the price after the $7K discount? By options I mean does it have leather, navigation, V6, etc?
Now I got curious - looked it up on Toyota.com and if I did not look at the wrong columns it appears the V6 comes standard with leather while the I4 not
