Talking 08 I4 Hesitation Completely Gone!!! + New Pics + Drop.

I finally took my car to the dealer this morning for the hesitation problem. They recalibrated the ECM, and the hesitation is completely gone, no questions asked, they know exactly what they're doing. It feels like a totaly different car, and no problem changing gears now.

It took them about 1 hr, and I drove off the parking lot with a big grin on my face.

And I want to thank Njerald, Thoots, and the other guys that helped me with this problem. I really appreciate all your help.

While I was there I picked these up.

Here's what my car looks like as of now (with DRL disabled).

I'm going for the plain looks, no more stickers & badges.

My new Bosch Icon wipers.

New steering wheel cover, TRD shift knob, and front custom made floor mats.

Rear custom made floor mats (1 long piece).

I think I should drop it with TRD springs now.

Can somebody photoshop this pic with the drop please. Thanks.

They gave me a quote for about $600 to $700 for the TRD springs including the installation, is this a good deal?

Well that's all for now. It's time for cleaning.

Do you think other dealership such as the ones in Orange County would carry them? Is there a technical name that I can refer to when I call into my local dealership? Thanks

Yes...because you could go to a (trusted) local shop and get them done for half that or even less...mine cost 450 total. (Eibachs) The dealers jack up the price...on everything.

As reference, I paid $660 at my Toyota dealer - TRD springs, installation, alignment, and tax.

I think so, just tell them that you want the custom made for the gen 6 Camry. They should have either 3 piece (like mine) or 4 piece set (2 fronts, 2 rears which do not cover the middle part).

They have other colors too (clear, grey, black, brown, and some others I think).

It took them about 1 week to make it.

Don't buy the OEM ones (the one that has the "Camry" on it), it will crack after a few months, like mine did.

Gotta love the warranty, otherwise they'll rape you with the labor costs.
