what are the indicators if it's the starter or fuel pump?

If it's the starter there will be power to the starter but the engine won't turn over. If it's the fuel pump there will be power to the fuel pump but it won't run and build fuel pressure. They each cause completely different no start symptoms.

You asking the difference makes it clear you don't know enough to diagnose the vehicle properly. Have it towed to the nearest Toyota dealer for repair.

Usually when ppl say "won't start" it means the car doesn't make any engine noise at all. I suggest checking the battery. Of cause dealer will do all the checking/troubleshooting for the price.

After spending decades in the automotive business I've found "won't start' or "no start" to mean that the engine either doesn't turn over, or it does turn over (crank) but doesn't fire. In either case, the vehicle won't start.
