LED mirror covers...maybe we are lucky

I just got this response from the mfg of a large selection of LED mirror covers in Taiwan They just never had one for the Gen6 Camry...I bugged them regularly to look into that. Lets see where that gets us.

I will hopefully find out soon. The pictures of other models look like a replacement housing (just the mirror housing w/o the mount) with integrated LED, but hard to tell w/o getting more details. I responded and wait for their answer. Worst case would be a cover...but that also might be much cheaper.

i hate it that these mirrors dont fold. i recall my dad's old gen 5 asian camry, they were power folding with the touch of a button.

Sorry to disappoint you...I don't think so, just covers or housing replacements and not entire mirror with mount.

Just drive very close to a wall... they will "fold automatically"

If you happen to have pictures from them, make sure it's not for the asia model of camry. I know they have the the LED mirror cover for Asia Camry, but i don't think it won't fit.

I do more due diligence before I simply order, i.e. I like to have a sample, ask for US model spec and part number etc. after that negotiate MOQ and T&T's to be suitable for small group buys etc.

They just added the Gen6 after bugging them for a while, so I don't take anything for granted and double check before I pull any trigger.

But if you can or like to do it any other way, please, feel free to use that info and I would be glad to simply piggy back on what you do. Less work for me - always good.
