5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Does anyone know if the bodykit is placed on top of the standard front and rear bumper, or the underlying bumpers are different?
The reason I ask is that I'm not 100% sure i like the visual effect of the front and rear (especially rear) ground effects kit on the SE and wondered if it was a simple removal job.
Yeah, I checked out the rear and I saw the slots. Looks like I might have to end up buying a std bumper and having it painted the same color as the car.
I haven't checked out the front yet... I assume there's holes up front also that mount the lip to the std bumper?

lookin at gettin the wife a camry, i like the grill and interior of the se but like the clean(boring) lines of the le/xle. just wonderin how easy it would be to take the ground effects off. looks like the easiest option would be to find someone with one the same color and swap bumpers and skirts.
i'll take your lips if you don't want them lol. pm me. i have a xle so can give you my rear bumper, and left and right side skirt. left one might need a bit of touching up as it seems to have bulged out a mm from my recent accident.
