I've got 20% all the way around and it's been almost 2 years now that I've got that done and no issues from cops what so ever! I also live here in Washington state too like you so I would say it's safe to get it! plus on your side of Washington state it's in the triple digits in the summer months and you'll keep your ride way cooler! 20-30% all around is fine on a black car with a black interior. The interior should make the tint look much darker at night from the outside and it shouldn't make it too dark to see out of at night. I used to have limo tint (about 5-10%) on my rear windshield and rear windows at at night it was much more difficult to see outside.

This time I got 20% on my front windows, 8% on the rear windows and 20% on the rear windshield. Obviously this is not uniform around the car, but it is much safer and the difference is not that noticeable.

5% all around with windshield strip. And there are AWD IS 350s out there. They are just like Bigfoot...rare.

i'd go 20% all-around with 50% windshield, but yes 35% is legal limit in WA plus windshields aren't supposed to have more than a strip at the top

5% rears, 20% front two. Get the Top windshield strip also, will make the front look darker. I like having Dark windows, so i can get freaky in the backseat.lol

I use 30% all around on my Gen6 black Camry. It has the black leather interior. Indeed on a cloudy day the tint looks very dark. And 30% is in a sort of gray area where no cop will bother you about.
Could I see some high res shots of your ride w/ the 30% tint? For sure I'm going to have the same % all around. 35% seems to light for my taste and I don't want to go overboard and not be able to see anything at night. lol
