2009 door arm rests suck

I recently purchased a 2009 Camry LE and the lack of padding on the driver's door armrest makes it uncomfortable, so I'm looking for some solutions. I'm figuring I could do one of the following:

1) I was putting in some aftermarket speakers today and it looks like I could swap out the armrest with something that has more padding, maybe from one with the leather interior?

2) Hunt down an armrest from a used office chair and bolt it on to the door's armrest.

Any ideas?

Better than either of those:

Go to a local upholstery shop, and have them add some extra padding into the existing armrest. They'll have all the tools and the padding and such to make it look totally clean and original, and it really shouldn't cost all that much at all.

If you don't have a clue regarding which shop to visit, go to your friendly Toyota dealer's service writer, and ask who they use for all of their upholstery work. All dealerships work with one or more shop, and whoever that my be would be very familiar with your interior.

Piece of cake!
