cabin air filter/intake filter

Looking to replace these instead of dealership, I have check autozone and advanced auto parts and they were both out of stock. Does anyone use a vendor online?

It's probably cheaper if you just get the local dealer to order a couple for you. Locally, O'Reillys will special order for about 8 bucks, about half the price of Toyota, even by online. It's their house brand, but for a cabin filter that will do just fine.

Why not just buy K&N air filter. All you have to do is clean it and reuse. No need to constantly purchase new air filters.

The cabin air filter was only like $30 or so at the local dealer, why would you want a K&N cabin air filter anyways???

I never said K&N cabin air filter. I was referring to the air filter box in the engine bay..you know, the one that can be replaced by a short ram intake, etc. Get a K&N or TRD drop-in air filter and he doesnt have to constantly buy new intake filters.

Does K&N even make a cabin air filter?

I just replaced my wife's cabin filter in her '00 Celica. It was cheaper to purchase it through the dealer compare to Advanced, which they had on sale for $21. Good luck!

Eric.

I finally located a good cabin filter that fits my 2007 at Pep Boys. The quality is much better and much more solid overal instead of the flimsy original. Dimensions are identical. Its made by Purolator, item C 35667. Initially they were out and had to reorder from the distributor. Very reasonable price of $11.88!! There you go- always glad to help out when possible.

Thanks! I picked one up at Advanced Auto Parts for 9.00 dollars yesterday! They do not stock the intake filter yet. They stated fram would release one soon and they were out of K and N.

The AutoZone near me doesn't have the K&N filter in stock, but they are available if I wanted them to order one. I just went with the SRI instead

And as for the cabin air filter, I thought that's what you meant but I wasn't sure. $10 is a great price though!
