Gen6 SE Question?

How much did you guys pay for your Camry to get tinted? Did you guys pay extra to get your back window tinted due to the middle backlight, I was told they need to remove the seats and back panel. The quote was $ 220 for all windows plus 40 extra if I wanted them to cover up the backlight.

220 is way to much. I paid 140 OTD, lifetime warranty, middle light covered. No parts removed, and they shouldn't be removing anything.

I had it thrown in at time of negotiations when purchasing my Camry. There is no need to remove any panels/seats to get the rear window tinted. Just walk away from this place and get a quote from somebody else.

I was thinking the same way, don't remove anything n go somewhere where they don't take anything apart....

My tint guy charged $200. He is a serious perfectionist about getting everything aligned perfectly so I am willing to pay more to make sure everything comes out perfectly. He was able to tint the rear window without taking anything apart, FYI.

It actually depends on the market where you live. I live in Southern California and my regular tint guy charged me $220.00 with Titanium tint and he installed Limo black on back glass and 50% on all four sides. Flawless job in the back. He did not cover the back light. He cut around it. Nothing to remove when installing.

make sure they do the whole backand dont cut out your 3rd brake light because it looks like ass! My camry got it fully done and it looks GREAT. While i went to a different tint place to get my accord done and they cut it out. Every time i walk behind my car and see the cut out i kick myself in the ass for not asking the tint about that before hand!

I got a 30% job done with nice metallic tint and lifetime warranty for around $225. Nothing was removed in the process.
