So far, the changes have been virtually nonexistent. Certainly, all of the tweaks offered via TSB's have been implemented in the new models.
As for mid-generation changes, I'd lay odds of maybe ten-to-one that any cosmetic changes might make the car look WORSE, not better. About the only thing I could see would be to do something different with the grille, especially for the plain-color-bar CE/LE models. I certainly see nothing you could do but ruin the headlights or taillights, short of adding HID's in the front and LED's in the rear. I doubt you'll see either of those, though.
I tend to think it'll be much like the previous-generation Corolla -- virtually no cosmetic or interior changes whatsoever through the life of the generation.
There's the new 2.7-liter engine mentioned for the Venza that I suppose they could add or replace the 2.4-liter four with, and also the mating of either with the six-speed automatic transmission. I expect something around these engine/transmission changes would be mostly what we might see for any mid-generation changes.
In the end, I think you should look from the perspective of where we are right now -- Camry is selling better than it ever has, apparently being one of the top destinations for people bailing out of huge trucks and SUV's. So, should Toyota just keep on cranking out the Camry that they're selling like hotcakes, or should they mess with it? Personally, I don't really see a need for any changes, so I wouldn't be surprised to see essentially no mid-cycle change at all. "We shall see!"
