HI guys, i wanna get these wheels - Enkei RS7 - 18x7.5. web site, as a recommendation for my car (02 Camry, they say car offset is 35-42mm) shows only with 35mm offset, even though those wheels are available with 45 offset also. So the question is, should i go with 35 offset, or 45 will fit? Won't the 35 be sticking out?

Go for the +35 offset. The +45 will be tuck-in too much. Your rims is only 18x7.5 so it won't stick out at all. I have 18x8 +35 offset in the front and I have no problem at all.

THanks for reply, what about the tires for them? is 245/40R18 will be ok?
Don't get the 245/40/18. Their overall diameter is too small.
Here is the comparsion.
216-60-16=26.16 overall diameter inches (Stock CE,LE,XLE,Hybrid)
215-55-17=26.31 Stock SE
225-45-18=25.97 This is as close to stock (non-SE) as you can find.
225-50-18=26.86 I have this on my front tires.
235-45-18=26.33 This is as close to stock SE as you can find.
235-50-18=27.25
245-40-18=25.72
245-45-18=26.68
255-40-18=26.03 I have this on my rear tires.

I got wheels installed today: Enkei RS7 18x7.5 35 offset with KUMHO ECSTA SPT 225/45R18 tires(02 Camry LE,no lowering springs, everything stock). It was me and a passenger in front, when i went for a ride, on the straight line it's fine, turning left and right is fine too, but when you hit the bump, even a tiny one, you can hear rear wheels hit or rub something. Another new issue that i'm having now is a high squealing noise (something similar to when your brake pads go bad )coming from the wheel side (not sure front or rear) and it's squealing even when i don't brake,i noticed that when i was going less than 20m/h in my apt complex.. What is wrong? Supposedly i should be fine and experience no rubbing as advised to go with wheels and tires of that size...and this squealing How to fix that guys, help me out please!
PS. i don't know if that has anything to do with the problem i'm having but when i attempted to install first wheel i didn't do a good job securing the jack underneeth the car so when i lifted it up and took the wheel out, the jack fell on the side and the car fell , no damage was noticed as far as i could see.Should i be worried that something is screwed up and get it checked at some service place? the only thing i'm afraid is that they may say something like "yeah man that and that needs to be replaced" even though everything is fine (i know they like screwing ppl in auto repair places, i had a personal exp in the past, luckely i didn't have to pay $500 for the parts and labour that they were asking, that cost me $0 to fix it myself)..

First of all, it was my bad for assuming you have a Gen6. I didn't realize you have Gen5. I know that Gen6 has bigger wheel well thus more room to play with. Had I know you had a Gen5 I would said go with the +45 offset.
Sorry about the accident but I don't know much about mechanical of the car so maybe TRDVVTi and JSM1284 and others can chime in.

1. which side of the car fell off from? (front right, front left, rear right, rear left)
2. Is the noise coming form the side that the car fell off from?
3.how bad is the rubbing in the rear? you might be able to just cut the inner fender lip but i'm not sure if that will fix your problem complete you might have to do a combo cut & roll the fender because i have 18X8 +38 am i'm rubbing 1mm all around so i just cut the rear fender and i'm going to put a lil more negative camber in the front.
if you answer yes on question 2 then it might be your rotor backing plate. to fix it just get a big screwdriver and bent it back out. that should fix squealing noise
1.It's the left front side.
2. This high pitch squealing is hard to localize from inside the car, someone prob. has to be outside and listen. But looks like it's from the left side (not sure front or rear though).
3. It's like swooshing or rubbing, hard to tell where exactly, and not all the time. But when you hit the bump you will definitely hear rubbing in the rear.
Do you think there's no point in trying to get the wheels and/or tires exchanged for different size (like 18x7.5 with +45 offset instead 35 and maybe different size tires)? Or will i still have rubbing?. Lammydi said go with the +45 offset. Will that have anything to do with rubbing? How much would it cost to cut&roll the fenders?
you shouldnt be rubbing at all....I just lowered my 02 cam on eibachs, and I'm running 18x8 +40 wheels with 235/40/18 tires, and i dont have any rubbing....you should have like 10mm more clearance on the suspension side, and like 1-2mm more clearance to the fender. plus, youre running narrower, but slightly taller tires....try to pinpoint where the rubbing is occuring....then maybe we can figure out what is happening..
i also have a 12" sub in the trunk that adds some weight...You say i have taller tires (yours 235/40),you think i should still be fine with mine 225/45? I don't really know how to pinpoint where rubbing occures, cause as i said looks like there's no rubbing if not hitting bumps, unless i should put some ppl on the back seat and see if it'll get worse...
a stock height camry should not rub on those tires, thats the recommended size.....i'm a little perplexed...
IdleWild is running +35 offset not +40 offset there a big difference with 5mm. if you don't know how to play with offset then you shouldn't get rim that all i can say.

If you can exchange the rim and keep the tire then I say go for it. because the tire size is right. it just the offset that is wrong. The rubbing will go away. I don't think the rim are causing the high pitch squealing might be something else.
Thanks, today is monday so i'll try calling the internet shop and talk about exchanging them for 45 offset. And as for sqealing, i did figured out where it's coming from, it's exactly from the left front side, the one that fell...so prob. som-g bent there..

I know what offset he is running, I was saying that he would have more clearance than me because I am running 8inch wide wheels...I certainly hope that the not knowing how to play with offset question wasn't directed to me....
