Gen6 question about rims and tires

hey guys need some help about rims and tires. i did some research on it.but want to make sure if it will fit..

i want to get 19" rims but what is the widest i could get that could fit on the 2007 camry SE without having and problems? i was looking at 19X8.5, 19X9.5, and 19X10.Could these fit on my car.

what is the highest off set i could get?

and for tires how do you match it up to the rim size for example 225/40/19, 235/40/19?

thanks

how high of an offset? or do you mean how low of an offset can you go?
the higher the offset, the more sunken in the wheel will be into the wheel well.

19x8.5 with an offset of +35 is the safest. your offset choices would be from +35 up to +45 safely. you can choose to go with either:
- 225/40/19
- 235/35/19
- 245/35/19
those are the most popular choices.

with regards to the 19x9.5 and 19x10:
- are you considering running a staggered set-up? 19x8.5 front and say 19x10 rear?
if yes, the offset of the wheel would depend on how low you go and if you are going to be stretching tire.
a set up like 19x8.5 +35 with a 225/40/19 on the front and 19x9.5 +30, 225/40/19 would fit if you rolled your fenders tremendously and if you plan on kissing the ground. if you are on TRD/EIBACH springs, you should have no problem with rubbing.

- are you planning on going wide on all four corners?
if you are, say 19x9.5 on all four, it gets trickier from here. you'd need to get maybe an offset of +35 or lower (meaning wheels would be sticking out) to avoid hitting anything on the inner side of the FRONT wheels (shocks, struts, fender lining). also, you would need to be stretching your tire to ensure your fenderwell and fender don't shred your tires if you are low.

by what your signature says, you are planning to go low. what i really suggest is stretching tire and going for a lower offset. you can make your wheel choices fit, so long as you know how to get it. fender rolling, fender pulling, hopefully not fender shaving or cutting.

thanks for the advice....

i found some rims i wanted to put on ...i'm considering running a staggered set up with 20X8.5 front and 20X10 rear...

20" tires will cost a little cheaper than the 19" that why...
