Hi guys, I have 2007 Camry SE I4 and I just recently bought DXR R6 19x8 +35mm offset wheels. I have few questions:
1. I am about to buy Good Year Eagle F1 All season 235/35/19 tires, is the offset +35 ok, or I have to use spacer, etc. ?
2. I have original 17" with Michelin tires and about 6000 miles on it, how you guys solve problem with the original valves with sensors, are you switching them to new wheels or just leave them in old ones a disconnecting somehow the sensor in the car.
I may sell the original wheels with tires, how much they go for ?
And I thing those sensors are going to be useless if I sell them, because they matching the car I think ?
3. Or is better to put performance tires on 19" and leave original 17" for winter time.

19x8 +35 offset is just fine. You don't need any spacers. It will sit flush nicely.

I have the TPMS sensors still sit inside my stock wheels/tires inside my garage. I have my new wheels on for over a month now and driven over 1,000 miles and the light haven't come on yet. I think it still communicate with the transmitter to the ECU even they just sit in my garage. It's the only reason I could think of.
Those TPMS can be reprogram if you sell them to a new owner. Each sensor has its own serial number that can be program into the ECU.
Like Peach said, you can just switch the TPMS to your new rims. But then you will have the new rims sit in the garage in the winter time anyway.
3. Or is better to put performance tires on 19" and leave original 17" for winter time.
I would keep the stock 17" for winter time.
Thanks

its so weird.. I changed out my Se rims & put on 20's ... the weird part is..my tpms goes on & off.. my se rims are sitting in the garage.. the light on my dash will go on at times.. & other times it won't go on.. i think it may be due to because I park right across my garage at night..& the wheels are sitting right in front of the garage.. like 2-3 feet in from the opening... oh well... you don't really need to change out your sensors from factory rims to new rims.. as you're gonna have to switch them back when you swap rims again.. only reason I say this is because #1 there's no real damage being done with the light sensor going off on your dash.. #2 almost all the shops will tell you that they will swap them for you from one tire to another but if they break or go bad in the process they are not liable.. #3 sensors are expensive $105 a piece dealer cost... I was gonna buy a whole new set of 4 for my new rims, but after hearing the price its not really worth it... I just left mine in my SE rims...
Thanks guys for help, I decided I will keep my old rims for winter. Now I need tires only for summer but when I looked at 235/40 or 45 /19 the price is realy high. Then I looked at 245/40/19, which should be little bit bigger in diameter then stock tire and the price is a lot better.
Here is the question: Is 245/40/19 tire on 19x8 offset +35 wheel still going to fit on my camry or it is already too wide ?
I found Falken FK 452 245/40/19 for $161 and hopping Discount tire will pricematch it.

You should be fine with 245-40-19 because:
216-60-16=26.16 overall diameter inches (stock non-SE)
215-55-17=26.31 stock SE
225-45-18=25.97
225-50-18=26.86 My front tires
235-45-18=26.33 My previous GS rims/tires
245-45-18=26.68
245-40-19=26.72 Your tires
245-35-20=26.75 My previous rims
As you can see, your 245-40-19 is still smaller in overall diameter compare to my 225-50-18 and I'm lowered with Eibach springs.
Have fun.

Thanks for the response.
I ment if the wheel with tire will fit without touching or rubbing anything underneath front or rear fender.
How is going to look , my rim is 19x8, isn't 245 too wide for this rim ?
I just found Kumho Ecsta 225/40/19 for $152, which one is going to fit my rim better, 225 or 245 ?

I had 245-40-18 on my previous GS rims 18x8. So 245 will fit just fine with the width being 8. But you are safer with 225/40/19 and closer to stock in overall diameter with 225/40/19.

I think even 245/40/19 will look better. I like when tire wall is same width or little bit more as wheel width, to have little lip protection. I can't find any pics from front of the wheel with 225 and 245 tire installed, to compare. If you have them guys, can you be so kind and post them here, I can't really decide.
If I am right (correct me please) with my offset +35 means, the 19x8 wheel will go inside 1/10" (which is not problem), but it will be sticking out 9/10".
I just don't want to have a problem if i put 5 people in my car to have tires touching fenders.
lammydi : what was your offset on those 18x8. Did you have any problems with them (full steering range, rear tires touching fender with 5 people inside, etc.). Do you have any pics ?

My previous GS rims was 18x8 +45 offset but I had a 10mm spacers so my offset was really +35mm. No rubbing at all even with 5 people.

Thanks bro for helping my out, I really appreciate it.
There is no must for me to go as wide as possible. I am asking, because I had my rims 19x8 coming this Tuesday. If I know 225/40/19 are not going to look weird, I will just go for it.
Do you have any pics ?
Thanks for the pics !!!
Looks like 225/40/19 on 19x8 is still ok. I went to Discount tire Saturday and I spoke with one guy. First we talked about 225's, the deal was almost done, pricematch no problem, than I just ask about 245's, he looked at the computer and he said they are not listed for my car, but I told him they should fit. Then he looked at my car and he brought a wheel with 245/40/19 on it and we go by my car to see how it is going to look. Since then he start telling me to go with 245's, they will look a lot better( 225 deal was almost done). He told me to make sure everything is going to fit to bring the wheel with me, they will put the tire on it and he will put it on my car to make sure, before ordering tires. I told him my wheels coming in Tuesday, so Wednesday we will try it on, if everything fine I will go with 245's, if not I will go with 225's.
But I am suprised, Discount tire = #1 service.
Thanks all of you guys again for helping me out with this situation and apologize for my english.
