How much should I charge to change the starter on a 02 Camry LE?

Lol...assuming youre not a shop owner and just some guy with tools, i'd charge about $40 - 50 if that...(The starter on the camry is the easiest to change i have ever seen on any vehicle ever)

If you doing somebody a favor on your own - nothing. They will pay or reimburse you in some fashion w/o asking. If you are a professional and use a shop - you should know the rate.

I was asking because 1) I had a travel time of 1 1/2 hours to get there 2) I wasn't sure where the starter was located (top/bottom).

When I got there I saw how easy it was to do so, to compensate for time and travel I charged 60 being that shops were charging 80 for the job.

BTW, these days there are few people that will return favors without being asked unless they're family or close to it.
