5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Hello. I own a 2002 Toyota Camry XLE. I just turned 16, so I want to fix it up a little bit. I've been looking at some body kits for an 02 Camry for the past four months, and I'm leaning toward buying the Evo-5 Body Kit or a B-Magic Body Kit for 02-06 Camrys. But, would it look inconsistant if I used an Evo-5 Front Bumper, B-Magic Side Skirts, and a B-Magic Rear Bumper(as in ride height variation from the front to the rear)? Or can you mix body kits together to suite your taste as long as they are all for your specified vehicle?
I've looked at various web sites(majesticmodifications, customautotrim, grounddynamics etc), and the whole kit will cost about $700. Heres a link to the pictures of what I'm talking about.
wadup man
haha, thats cool that u wana get a bodykit. i dont know anything about bodykits, but i just wana say, nice choice on the B-Magic ones, altho, the Evo 5 front bumper looks a little big...like a chin clef or something...i dont know, just my opinion. anyway, good luck on the bodykits!
lol... i have the wonderous/bmagic kit on mine... do a search for wonderous kit.. and you can see what it looks like installed.... i have the silver gen5...
you can get it cheap if you are patient... aka craigs list.... painting will be quite expensive though...
good luck....
if you have any questions let me know...

You have the exact info I need brother. Im looking at picking up that kit and wondering about the painting. Not just about cost but also the look. With the white it looks consistent but I have phantom grey pearl paint and on a few of the websites showing kits I notice the colors arent matching. Are the owners of the sites just dumb and not using toyota factory paint or is it that the kits are made from a different material and will be nearly impossible to match? (fibreglass?) Also what did it cost you to get it painted and installed?

Cost greatly depends on your area and the quality of the kit you get.
A quality paint/body shop should be able to match the paint almost perfectly. Different materials can make the paint a slighlty different color.
I see. Thanks for all your opinions, its greatly appreciated.
I'm having trouble finding a Sportivo Kit for the 02 Camry, so...are there any opinions on having a Vizage Front Bumper, and B-Magic Side Skirts and Rear Bumper? Or do you suggest that I do not mix body kits(height variation?)?
And, can anyone give me an estimate on how much it would cost to paint the body kit Super White(factory color)?

Just a rough estimate: ~$180 for the rear bumper, ~$150 for the front, ~$100 for the side skirts
prices for front and rear bumper come from quotes for stock parts, might cost more for aftermarket parts
