First Auto-X in Camry

Well, took the camry to it's first Auto-X today.

The Car: 2007 Camry SE V6, 43,500 miles on odo, Original (but worn) tires. No mods to the car

The event: Corvette Club Auto-X at the airport

Outcome? I shocked everybody. I came in 4th out of 18 cars (10 Corvettes). 2 new C6 Z06's (one on slicks), and a 550+hp C5 Z06 beat me. Pretty damn good day!

wait till I get new tires and some suspension! I topped 70 mph on the back stretch. Pretty quick.

Also, when the rain came down, I owned all (including the WRX). the radar showed "RED" rain right over us (Severe), but those brave enough kept running. 45mph Slalom in the downpour. Couldn't get much better than that.

BMW club event tomorrow at same location.

I love my Camry.

I should have added that I have about 50+ auto-X events under my belt in a variaty of vehicles from Civics to Corvettes. this was just my first one in the Camry (and the first one in 2 years)

I didn't take any pictures, but I know a few others did. I'll let you know when I find them.
