Gen6 Easiest way to add sub/amp to 09 JBL HU?

I have an amp and 12" sub that I would like to add to my 09 LE V6 with JBL 6 disc system, what is the easiest way to acomplished this? Does the JBL headunit has RCA output? should I splice into the rear speaker wires and tab them to line converter? if so...wouldn't it sound like arse? and from where should I be getting the remote turn on wire to the amp?

i have an 07 with the jbl cd changer, and no, the stock hu does not have RCA inputs. the way i went was the line converter, but it still sounds good. as long the wires are done correctly, it should be ok. i had some pros do mine, so i was in the clear for that.

do you guys know if these JBL 6x9 speakers are rated at 8, 4, or 2ohm? I'm also thinking about replacing them with slightly better stuff like the Infinity Reference 6922i.
