Gen6

Slow like my 1957 English Ford Anglia that I had for a stint in England.

36 HP, 1.1L, 3 speed with a top speed of about 75 mph. Just a little faster than a scooter..........slower than a scooter with four aboard.

I wonder what a Geo Metro would be like to drive with 4 passengers in it

i love the soviet era old cars of the 70s.... i grew up with them and they rocked.. even if they didn't work half the time.

having people in the back seat will often result in your muffler hitting high speed bumps, that's common. just gotta watch out next time and take the bump slowly or at an angle.

i hear it's just as bad as everyone think it is. my friend spoke of his encounter with 5 people in a metro and how it buzzed and felt like almost breaking when going from a stop on a steep incline...

on the other hand... metro + 1 occupant = mpg gold.

I don't drive with more than two people in the car usually but when I do it's fine. It feels slower but nothing major. I've had 6 or 7 people in the gen 3.5 (back in high school) and although the car was almost touching the ground, no problems either.

I still remember a while ago when I drove my aunt's Avalon (w/ the 2GR) with a full car and I was amazed that it felt exactly the same as if it were just me.
