i put mine (it's not the factory Sirus system) down the side of the dash and under the floor moldings, and up between the seat and the rear door molding....if that doesn't make sense i can take a pic and show you...

My sat antenna is routed under the floor molding, behind the rear seats and into the trunk, then the wire is ran along the trunk hinge to the trunk lid. The antenna pops out centered on the top of the trunk lid on the rear lip by the window. I can also take pics if my explanation didn't make sense.

Do boyh of you

Do you both of you have the antenna on the decklid? Can you both take pics? Also how is the reception? I heard a lot of bad things with the factory antenna that mounts on the inside of the window. Thanks guys

Sorry about the flash, it's nighttime. Damn my car looks dirty with the flash but it's clean I swear.

I can't tell you how the cable gets from the dash to the trunk, an installer did it. I do know he had to remove the rear seats and some obvious lining from the trunk. I'm sure you can figure out a good route.

The cable enters the trunk on the right side, is taped in place and routed along the right trunk hinge, and under the trunk lid lining.

The installer would not mount it inside the window because he said reception would be poor. I get excellent reception with the antenna mounted here, I was in the middle of a bad thunder storm last month and my XM was still coming in unaffected. A couple big steal overpasses in town and tall, concrete/metal buildings will still cause it to cut out monetarily. Overall I'm very satisfied.

Mine is on the inside of the back window...i'll get pics..but it'll be 5 days before i can post..i'm going away in the morning. Reception is fine, unless you go under and stop under a bridge, or trees etc. I have my windows tinted as well, no problems at all
