Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
how bad is it damaged? compair the cost between converting and just repairing and repainting. If you do the front end you might as well get new taillights to complete the Gen 5.5 look.
Unfortunately, i hate the gen 5.5 tails. I just wanted the bumper...and I seen some on ebay, so we'll see....But the price is not too much of an issue, because right now, I'm just not happy with how the car looks....and my cam is going to be a keeper, so i think i'd be happy spending a bit more money on something i can keep for awhile. But i do have a question...will the gen 5 engine splash guard have the same moutning points as the gen 5.5 splash guard?
C was not even an option but yea, anyways I need opinions not your guys approval, lol.
Input would be nice, but it seems like this forum has gone to shit and i can't even get decent responses on simple questions. I guess that's why I'm becoming less and less active on these boards as the days go by. Come on guys...keep the opinions coming.
See? You got 3 persons saying Gen 5.5, and 1 person saying C. Don't care.
Still have doubts?
Go for it and post some pics, friend.
I remembered somebody on this forum did the conversion from 5 to 5.5, I think it was "96CamryLE" or something, I forgot the exact user name, and it came out good.
^ i was thinking exactly that!
I didn't have doubts guys, I'm with you guys 100% i just wanted to know how people felt..and if something that was a concern, could possibly change my mind.
