I have my sirius connected to the aux button so no need to waste 100 bucks for that part

When you have it connected with the aux you have to scroll through stations on the tuner box. What that does is allows you to scroll on steering wheel and radio, also you dont have a box cluttering up your car. I went ahead and bought it, Will post pics and review.
