Gen6 Gen6 I4 supension - from LE to SE

Am planning to do this big "mod" in august... below is a list of parts that I need to order after my research:

- 4x SE struts
- 4x SE strut mounts
- 4x SE springs
- 4x top nut

Rest of the parts I can simply swap from the old setup... big question is...

IS MY RESEARCH RIGHT Have I miss anything

I want to do this because... after 5 months on TRD lowering springs... I just feel the stock LE struts just can't coup with the increased spring rate... so I decide to go back to OEM. So I wanna know if anyone tried this before... appreciate your sharing.

My second question is: I'll very likely be ordering these parts from a dealership in National City CA... any suggestion on shipping them cheap to Hong Kong? Air freight costs my arms and I don't mind waiting ocean freight... definitely need some help here...

The stock LE struts work perfectly with TRD springs. Actually, LE struts compliment the TRD springs very well.

What is your specific concern?

might be cheaper there in HK too since you can get megan or k-sport or d2 coilovers cheaper, especially from taiwan.
look into a company called borr-chuan racing. i know they make it for the camry as well

yeah I've been thinking the same too, just that I'll completely lose my suspension warranty, plus my impression is coilver = very harsh ride due to higher spring rates (TRD is almost the max I can tolerate)

Oh BTW, do you guys know Tein has busted out their coilovers in Hong Kong? Selling at ~$1,462 http://www.tein.com.hk/price_list/super_street.html

Is Tein good?

wow that is a good price definitely! tein is good.
if they were sold here already and provided around a 3-4" drop id get one in an instant.

depending on the height you go for and the roads you drive, the ride quality wouldn't be too harsh if you don't need to stiffen up your settings. i had my coils set around 5 clicks on the first few days and it wasnt as harsh as you would think.
