Gen6 Advice Needed On Suspension!!!

i just bought an 09 se. i wanna dropp it 1.8 with sprint springs but i just want to keep my stock shocks. is that bad? do i really need new shocks?

i dont know how sprint springs are, i think someone said they'll eventually sag or something. but if u wanna be safe go with the TRD/Eibach. thats the most common spring TN camry gen6 users use.

Sprint springs SUCK

We had 2 members here that absolutely regretted it.. And yes, your shocks have a good chance of blowing, not because its a 1.6 drop, but because sprint springs suck. They sag and will murder your handling and ride comfort.

If you really want the lowest drop, get the tein springs from the solara 04-06. I had that before, and I didn't regret it at all (before I went coilovers). It was a 2.0 drop all around, and it handled great. The feedback from the road was also good too.

Theres a user here that is running 70K miles past on tein springs, and his stock struts are doing just fine also.


read through this whole thread that I posted to get feedback on it. Don't get sprint. If you want the lowest springs available, get the teins.
