5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Hi guy's, just thought I would post to the forum and say I just bought my 09 Camry SE in Barcelona Red Pearl w/ Black Cloth Interior this week and have added some custom part additions to it, like the Brushed Aluminum CAMRY Door Sills, the OBX Race Pedals, Window Tint, Enkei 17" BRCT Diamond Cut Wheels, Color Keyed Body Side Moldings, XM Radio with External Antenna, K&N 33-2370 Panel Filter.
I also Debadged the Trunk Lid to give it more of a cleaner look in the rear. Check out the pictures I have uploaded to the Gallery the last couple of days. Glad to be in here and look forward to talking about these cars and coming up with some other Performance Modifications we can do to these vehicles to enhance their performance a little bit better, over factory.
I see these are 17's but why do they look smaller?
Actually that was my question to the Dealership Part Manager, when I went down to pickup the car with these already installed. But they are 17", as the 215/55/17 Toyo J33's were installed onto them, before I took delivery of the car. I guess because of the tall tire size, the tires make the wheels look smaller. I still like the look though, as they are different from the other Enkei Diamond Cut wheels in 18", that Toyota offers for these vehicles.
I would of asked for SE rims and gotten a lil money off.
Oh, by the way WELCOME!

Yes, I know, I tried to get a Discount, but they would not give me much off the retail price. I have the Brand New 17" SE 6 Spoke Silver painted Wheels boxed up in my garage right now, that the dealership took off my SE to install these Enkei's. I was thinking about selling the SE Wheels for about $950 including shipping to anywhere in the continental US. So if anyone is interested, then please email me at wyd_trkr@bellsouth.net Oh BTW, Thanks for the welcome.

Was that meant to be funny or what? I think $800 for the 4 Brand New 17" SE Wheels is a good price, plus $150 for shipping, that would be the $950 total. Someone would benefit with these wheels for sure at that price, considering across the parts counter they are closer to $300 each.

I suggest looking at classified section of the forums to see what the price some have sold or do a search.
You can also go check eBay and see what the going price is. Rims and tires dont even sell at $600. A set of 4 rims only is sold for $300 or so. Those who look for deals know never to buy from dealers or even compare prices especially when it comes to accessories. They price gauge everything.
Eventhough these are new, no one in their right mind would buy a set of OEM rims WITHOUT tires for that much. Heck, I might as well get aftermarket rims WITH tires for a little bit more.
Nice ride, though, OP!

Well, thanks for the information, as I had no clue as to what they were worth. If I do not sell these, I might just send them out to California and have them Chromed and maybe reinstall them back onto the car at a later date, if I get tired of the Enkei's.
