Gen 5 Back seat removal

Hi,
I just purchased a new pair of 6X9 speakers that I want to replace the rear OEM's with. According to Crutchfield's instructions and the Haynes repair manual, I am supposed to remove the entire back seat to do this. Both instructions however are very vague. Does anyone know how to take the bottom cushion out? I know there are two clips holding it down but how to I get those loose? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

There are 2 clips, one under each side. Just feel for them and pull up, one at a time. It should release without much force.

There is a sticky at the top of the forum that's titled: "Newbies please read before posting!". A MOD added that thread as a courtesy for new members. By not starting threads on topics that have been covered many times over, using the search feature helps keeping these types of topics from having an overwhelming quantity. That just makes searching even MORE difficult for the people that have the courtesy to use the function.

If you would have had the courtesy to check that thread out, you could have searched or even clicked on the link for the Gen 5 manual. In that manual in the Seat section there is the specific information you are looking for on page 72-34.

Here's the link to that section in the manual: http://www.camrystuff.com/manuals/Gen5/72_Seat.pdf

Welcome to TN.
