Order Tein springs and other parts from ebay now with 25% cash back

Hey guys last night I just ordered my Tein solara springs and I got 25% cash back from Microsoft. Microsoft's www.live.com is having a promotion that allows you to get 25% cash back through paypal after 60 days of purchase. So I got my springs for $241 up front then $51 dollar cash back after 60 days. Live.com makes you wait 60 days to ensure that you keep the item in case you return it. Everything is shown in details in your ebay account and live.com account ( you can use your hotmail account to sign in ). HAS TO BE A BUY IT NOW

Here are the steps to do it. I will use my Tein lowering springs as an example.
1. go to www.live.com ( sign up if you don't have a hotmail account if you do then just sign in)
2. search Tein lowering springs
3. the first result should have a logo that saids cash back 25% eligible with paypal purchase.
4.click on the first result with the logo and it will direct you to ebay.
5. now you can refine your search by adding solara 04 and it will go to the Tein spring that I got. Make sure that you still see the 25% cash back logo on the top of the page near sign in or register.
6. The percentage off is random and right now its at 25% , it was once 20% and caps at 35%.
7. you may need to clear your cookies if the cashback logo does not show up.
8. Will work with other items and the cap amount is $250.
9. MAKE sure the cashback logo is still at the top of every item you are looking at. When you click buy it now it should show up with the cashback logo as well.
10. During the checkout page you will see how much cashback you're getting back.

I first brought this up in the LED taillights thread and I think someone else made a thread about this. I ordered my LED taillights at the end of June. I have yet to receive my cashback. I dont know if its because it was through ebay motors or what, but I'm out $69 right now. 35% was the highest and that was mid-June and lasted like 1-3 days. On average, its been 20%. Occassionally, it will hit the 25% and than drop back down. Lowest is 10%. You must use BUY IT NOW and pay with PayPal. This will not work if a seller uses a third party checkout such as auctiva/vendio or other programs.

You are ONLY allowed 3 transactions per ebay account using this cashback promotion. Each transaction max out at $250. So if you want to make a 4th, 5th or 6th purchase, you have to make a new eBay account. Want to make a 7th, 8th and so on? Make another ebay account.

You only need 1 Live account and 1 PayPal account. Be sure to add those new ebay email addresses to PayPal so that they are linked.

MAKE SURE THAT IT SHOWS THE CASHBACK % AT THE TOP OF EBAY.COM AS WELL AS DURING YOUR CHECKOUT AND PAYPAL PAYMENT.

My understanding is that you can purchase a maximum of 3 items through one Ebay account. You can get a maximum of $250 cash back for all three transactions combined.

I also read that it will take 60-90 days before you get the rebate/cash back.

It's $250 per transaction and up to 3 transactions per account.

You get cash back after 60 days.

I just bought a laptop off eBay using this a couple days ago, Microsoft owes me $194.99, and it shows up on the Live.com cashback website, which will be credited to my PayPal in 60 days.

Yes, 3 items through one ebay account but its $250 per transaction. So thats a total of $750 from 1 eBay account. So you can purchase something at $100 and if 20% cashback at time of purchase, you'll get $20 back. if you purchase something new and its $1500. The most you can get on that transaction is $250. thats $270 under one account already. You still have one more.

it takes 60 days. Once its in your cashback account, there is a "timer" or countdown as to how many days are left before you can request the money for that transaction. I have two that should be available mid August and another beginning of September.

Purchased Viper 5900, Beltronics STi, bypass module and extra remote for Viper, smoked LED taillights and SB-600 camera flash. Those in its own color represent its own eBay account. Viper, STi and flash came through. The others ones didnt. I dont mind not getting the $6.79 or $9.99 for the module and extra remote, but I want the $69.25 to show up!

Sorry to bring up this thread again but does the live account have to be linked to the paypal account or does it not matter because all you need the live account is for actually searching the product in order for the cashback icon to show up??? PLease correct me if my understanding is wrong...

These no way to really link. Just click on the Cashback link sent by eBay and log in. If anything, its best to add your cashback email into PayPal.

I'm not sure if its available in Canada but from my experience as long as you have an ebay account with paypal and search through live.com it should work. However, the cash back percentage is random. Today is 15% yesterday was 25%. So you get lucky here and there.

I dont think cashback works in Canada. When you do a live.com search, eBay.com is the only link that shows up. No eBay.ca. Sorry Canadians, you're out of luck. Only thing would be to have someone in the states order it for you and ship it. Of course, you discount would be as high anymore. It would only be worth it if your item is an expensive item. You can however ask the seller if they are willing to ship to a different address. You can have a friend who lives in the states win and pay for the auction for you. But have the seller ship to Canada. You might have to pay a little extra in shipping.
