hey i just bought a Valor Multimedia screen for my car IS-702W i installed it in my car i have 05 camry! and now the thing is that when i put in a DVD it give me an error " warning DVD feature has been disabled for safety reasons"... its annoyin now i cant play any dvd in my car the rest works fine np at all.. is there nyway i can get rid of that ! plz help me!

Let me guess, when you put the car in park the DVD works? You are not supposed to watch and drive...a local audio/video shop can easily hack that security feature (if they don't care to be all legal..:-))

You can find the remote wire in the back and just ground that wire to any metal it will work.

although i do have the modification done on my dvd unit to watch while the car is it motion, i do not condone it. I rarely watch DVD's and when i do, it is when i am waiting in my car for a prolonged period of time. As for the error, i wont post up what to do but if you do a quick google search, you will find an answer.. it is a very easy mod

well can we hack that feature. and i dont think that feature even works wen my car is in the park mode. it sux m so annoyed because i was excited to putt it in.. n everything. is there a way where we can hack it?

try to put in shifter in P and play the DVD, if it works, then its normal, you just have to ground the safety wire to any metal piece on the car, you easily DIY that or go to a workshop to get it done if you dont know what you're doing

hey i tried grounding the wire to the metal bolt screw but it didnt work... idk wats rong wid it.. is there ny other possible wayy?

Got to give more info so that someone can help: Did it play et all when in P? What happens when you put a DVD in when in P? same error message, blank screen....nothing? Where did you buy the unit? ... checked region settings etc? From the sound of it, it appears you have 2 problems - you might have fixed the security feature (did the security warning disappear after the ground wiring?) but the video is simply not working. The security alarm message is independent of any DVD actual playing correctly.

ok i grounded the wire from the screen to the bolt where i have the unit placed n then the sm error comes up i have no idea n then it does work cause i haven attached the pink wire which is the Parking brake wire to the parking brake idk how to do that. once i do that the DVD will play wen i park mode but i want it to play wen i drive in motion but i still want to knw first how to connect the parking brake wire cause they both are far apart like wen u take out the unit i dnt see any pink wire except the one that is coming out from the unit. can someone please help me out
