camry v6 se and the lexus es350

hey wussup everyone. i'm in this forum seeking some much needed help. I am driving a lex es350 and was wondering if the coil overs from ksport made for the camry v6 se will fit. Since both of our cars have the same chasis, GSV40, and the struts are the same, technically this should work right? the springs from eibach for the camry v6 se is already proven to work fine for the es350 so the coil overs should work right? is there anyone technically sound enough to weigh in on my dilemma?

hey dude, i think i recall seeing you on CL. im on there too, same name. i posted in the es350 lounge several times already about the parts available for the camry and es350. i spoke to a lexus tech and toyota tech here and they said that the part numbers are different for the cars. if you were local i would let you try my coilovers on your car or even my eibach/trd springs.

if the eibach springs are indeed proven to work fine for the es350, you might want to look into h&r springs too for the v6 since they have a 1.4"F and 1.3" R drop.

the easiest and surest way you can do is to call up megan racing, see if they have stock of the 07 n up camry street coilovers and have someone from cali do a test fit. of course, you could always look for a used set or even those crappy ebay coilovers designed for the 07up camry. at least if you are able to try, you would have more certainty.

ive been hoping to see some support for the es350 too. they got robbed lol, just like the older ES330 and ES300 and windoms lol

are megan good quality. basically i've confirmed that since the chasis and upper strut for the camery is the same as the es350, GSV40, they couldn't "technically" say it would work but said i shouldn't have any issues installing them. What say you go for it?????

Moky and Peach can probably vouch for the Megan's. Haven't read or heard any complaints about them in terms of quality.

TEIN will also be coming out with their SS CO's for the Gen 6 as well. I'm waiting on those but who knows when they will come out as I was told by the end of this summer..

megan is pretty good. not only that but it serves it's purpose. seeing that since you have an es350, you aint gonna race it or track it like the is/gs guys, so you shouldnt have any problems with the megans. depending on the height you go for, be prepared to have a ride quality so distant from the comfort of the ES.

mine handles like a wooden cart or a go-kart. every single bump i can feel, my car's wheels go up from the ground when at an angle, it is bumpy on bumpy roads, smooth on smooth roads, but your es will look sweet i'd say go for it. ive been wanting to see an ES lowered for the longest time (es350 mind you)
