Camry lugnuts

I was wondering if the lugs that are used on a Gen 6 LE with hubcaps can be used on the SE wheels. I did a search and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.

I believe the steel wheel lugnuts are the angled seat lugnut and the SE alloy wheels have the shank style.

Here's a thread for reference, you'll have to ignore one of the ignorant trolls though:

I found that thread using the search function.

I actually just read that thread right before posting this thread, but I didn't read whether the hubcaps and SE wheels shared the same type of lug.

Do you have steel wheels?

I've never seen steel wheels without acorn/tapered lugnuts. The SE Gen 6 alloys have the shank style that's shown in a picture in that thread.

That's what I thought. Thanks for the response. But I thought wheels didn't come with the shank style any more.

Anyone happen to have lugs for the SE wheels that they would want to sell?

I think the shank style is a lot better design. It increase the tightness on the nut and minimize the chance of it coming off.

Anyway.......... is there an idiot way to find which lugnut you need for your wheel? Idiot like me need a sure # to look. I'm still looking for a security lugnut cause a few cars in my neighborhood got their wheel stolen. I don't check all 4 wheels when I get into my car in the morning. I wonder if the TPMS tire pressure indicator will turn on if the wheel is not there. LOL

Any1 can point me to some good place to buy 20 security lug nuts for decent price?

Just took the picture to see the difference:

TTM77, it would be tough to find 20 security lug nuts, I bought the wheel locks (set of 4 and the key).

Their weight is diff from the regular lugs and that can mess up the tire.

Ok, I'm looking into McGard lug nuts. I understand I need the shank lug nuts and that the thread is 12x1.5, but what length and diameter should I get for these SE wheels?
