Toyota front end alignment

Hello, Question is it true that newer Toyotas do not need a front end alignment that the request to adjust the front end alignment is just a ripoff??

This is a personal or required question!
Meaning that ...
I use to do alignment's every time I changed tires, but now I will only due alignment's if..
A. Car Pulls
B. Uneven wear (even some of this could be normal)
C. something does not seem right with the front end, and all other possibilities are exhausted.
D. You feel better by having it done.

Toyota found my '09 LE with 1500 miles to be out of spec and aligned it.
