New Guy

im not technically new to site because i made a few post in the past when i had a 03 toyota matrix.
A little about me. I owned the above car and spent close to 10g's on mods in that car.
i turbo'd it, big brakes, hid's, countless of other stuff.
in the end i spun a rod i tried putting everything back to stock to get it warrantied with no luck ended payin a friend to fix and i sold everything.
i was going to keep it but with inspection due and needed new tires plus I needed to fix some fuel issues I decided to trade it in.

Now with the NEW. I purchased a 09 toyota camry se v6. got the rear spoiler, tinted windows, dark charcoal interior, remote start, cargo package, chrome exhaust tips.
drove off with 20miles.

Mods are recently installed 6k hid's and about to buy another set for fogs.
I want to install intake but wife wont let me . which i dont blame her lol.

Welcome...I was a lifetime Honda owner until I traded it in for the exact car you have. Haven't done much to the car except for the usual...Tints, & upgrade the stereo. Just got my hands on my HID's (4300k in headlights, 3000k JDM Yellow in the fogs)

Not enough to feel when you hit the gas. TRD makes an aftermarket filter also.

First, welcome to TN. Secondly, try and keep you post in one or edit them rather than posting new ones.

TN is probably the most active Camry forum out there

There is nothing that will produce significant HP gain. Air intake and exhaust will increase slightly but you wont even know a difference. The V6 is already 268HP. Its more than enough power. If you want more, should of bought a different car.

If you search the forums, its been reported that there is no big difference except for sound (more growl)

its already been discussed in one of the threads. There is a SC for the I4 and its been done with images. A simple search will bring it up. Talks or mention of a v6 SC has also been mentioned but no actual evidence as it seems its behind the scenes and secretive. If your wife wont even let you install an intake, what makes you think she'll let you install an exhaust or even a SC/Turbo?

kul damm a s/c for the v6 would be nice.

and no matter what vehicle you get you always want more hp so doesnt matter which vehicle you get.
and thats y i got the v6 instead of the 4 cyl.

and the wifey's usually break down and give in lol. but definately not a t/c again with all the drama i dealt with from previous car.

But your wife wont even let you get an $250 or so intake. So its a moot point trying to put or even think about a S/C or Turbo.
