Fog lights and Halo

Hey guys. I'm planning on getting fog lights for 02 Camry LE. Searched through forums and seems like ppl were paying more tham $100 for lights. I searched on ebay and there are these lights for sale: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-....c0.m245.l1318

for $24+20 shipping.
Are these as good as OEM, which is more than $100 for a single fog light? And looks like they come with all the wiring and switch, is there anything else that i'll need to buy to make them work?
And i've got another quick question, i searched on these forums and found out that these Halo projectors are not worth buying and are total crap:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-....c0.m245.l1318

I found these ones on wooddashexperts that look bit different:
http://www.wooddashexperts.com/custo...t=19041&page=1

Are these any better? Or standard bulbs will not look good anyway and i'll need to go hid?

thanks

I've bought the cheap ebay fogs and moved onto oem fogs. The thing about the Ebay fog kits.. they're decent however the plastic used to make them is a bit crappy, they yellow up pretty fast. Also they seem to have condenstation build up in them quite frequently though that can be fixed. If budget is an issue you should buy the ebay fogs, they're wiring harness is decent but the cutoffs of the ebay fogs aren't as sharp as oem, but they'll do the trick.

I think Punks not dead has those projector headlights. Honestly I don't think they're worth it because for they take H1 bulbs.

Theres no difference in quality of both projector headlights. (the ebay one and the wooddashexperts)

Stick to OEM headlights, unless you plan on doing a retrofit (like i am). pics of them are on cardomain. I don't do a lot of night driving so i don't have to worry about light output, but OEM is way better.

i assume they'll last at least 3-6 months right?, i could just buy another pair of them after all ..still cheaper than 250 bucks for oem...

The oem "clear" fogs are the ones they seem to yellow the fastest. If you buy the smoked fogs (the ones that look tinted) they seem to look quite better, and the quality seems a bit better than some of the clear ones I've seen.

p.s The yellow fogs don't look that great(amount of yellow light output), you're better off buying 9005 Noyka 2500k bulbs and modding them to fit the 9006 housing.

^^ Nice. hope you enjoy your vacay.

I've had e46 projectors sitting on my desk for over a year. >_> I'm just too scared + lack of an oven prevents me from doing a retro.

Thanks!

Yea i'm scared too..if i had been thinking i'd of gotten the normal projectors, instead of the gattling gun looking ones..would have been a lot easier to do..but too late now! Will still be easier than doing it on OEM ones though
