My previous post was me being a smart ass, but I spent years owning and playing with Turbo Porsche 951's, turbo Dinan BMW's, Turbo VW's, etc.
  • The short and simple answer is don't do this on a Camry.
  • If you want fast and you want Turbo buy something else; Evo, STi, etc.
  • If you want a faster Camry buy a V6.
+1...especially if that is your first custom turbo and you want to do it on your daily driver. JMHO

With V6, you burn more gas than the I4. But you get constant power.

With turbo, you can keep the I4 and the benefit of better mpg. And get the choice of power when you switch on the turbo. Of cause when U press the switch, you also agree to pay for the extra gas.

So am I right that the turbo give you more choice? Am I missing anything?

youre missing a big fact that a turbo can't be turned off, im not sure you understand what a turbo is
