H.I.D laws........

I know that many people have hid kit on there car.
i want it on mine2.
So im asking people who know about this, is it legel? n if it is tell me what level n kind to get so i wont get pull over my the cop.
I dont realy need it very bight cause i have fog light on my Camry SE. i just need it to be white n nice.

I would say just get between 4300k - 6000k. If you do you should cover your squrrel spotters, theres a DIY laying around this froum somewhere. White is good. Blue/purple is a no no.

its illegal but i've never had anyone told me they got a ticket for their HID's. so many cars have'em now cops wont be able to tell its aftermarket unless u have like 16k which i still dont see cops hassling about.

If you worried about getting pull over by cops then i would go with oem white 4300K or even 5000K.......

Check out the Xenondepot forum, I have the pic posted on there.. I think post #100 or somewhere close to there.

BTW, any after market install HID is consider illegal. Anyway, most cops don't enforce this law but don't go over board. I recommend 5000K color but if U want to be safer, than go with 4300K.

Every time I hear VA I think of their mixing bowl area. Traffic horror and for some1 new to the area... boy what a horror.. crossing through 7 lanes just so you can catch your exit is a real risk taker. At least most ppl are nice and let you get in when you signal.

If you don't need the extra light output and hassle but just want the white look, replace your low, high and fogs with 4,350-5,000 K conventional Xenon bulbs.

Total replacement time for all 6, less than an hour and costs less than $100.
