shifter led question?

i asked a question on the shifter led thread but nooe responded so im making a new one.

So I read that the wires from the bulb need to be cut in order to ot blow a fuse, is this correct or am i reading it wrong?

and y would you need to cut the wire? or is it a different wire to cut?

like i said i might be readin it wrong but want some input before i do this mod.

i think if you buy the newer bulbs from superbrightleds, you don't need to cut it because I replaced mine and it's perfectly fine.


i think the old model had some problems where it would short circuit the breaker fuse.

i got them off ebay. i would of got them at superbright but i dont want to give out my credit card information, i just use paypal. so hope i dont have to deal with it.
