Navi antenna mounting...

I've got my new radio/DVD/Navi/blah blah blah installed...Any heads up on where to put the antenna for the Navi? I have it shoved in my dash right now, which actually works ok for now, but sometimes gets confused and I want to mount it correct.

I've seen some installed on the rear shelf, and it works well.

It's in the dash near the radio right now... I was thinking moving it and possibly putting it up near the roof under the headliner.
