Gen6 Body Side Moldings parts #

I have a silver 08 camry and i am thinking to add Body side molding.
But i found out there are three part# from different website.

Are they all from Toyotas? are they actually same thing?
If not, which one might have better quality?
Anybody installed? how do u like it ??
Is it easy to install? should i buy the template??

Part #PT29A-33085-01 -- most site carry this one
Part #00012-90883-02 -- trdparts.com
p/n 00016-32016-21 -- trdsparks.com

appreciate any answer or suggestion

Thanks..

Each color has its own unique part number. You say your car is silver, I'm not sure if you mean Titanium Metallic 1D4 (Part #PT29A-03075-01) or Classic Silver Metallic 1F7 (Part #PT29A-33085-01).

Part #00012-90883-02 seems to be extremely similar-- I'm not sure if it's the newer version (as many dealers stopped selling the original parts for a while) or if it's aftermarket. I'd call your dealer to ask, or email one of the websites that sell them.

I am extremely satisfied with how they look, but others absolutely hate them. You'll have to be the judge- as I think some colors look better with them, some look better without them.

Everyone that I know that has installed them says that it was extremely easy. Here is a link to someone who asked a similar question on the Greenhybrid Forum

If you look at post #5 in the above link, you'll find an additional link to a PDF that has the instructions.

You'll also find this link, which sells the parts you need at a pretty good price. (cheaper than most dealers) I've never bought them from here, but others have.

Good Luck

Mine is 1F7 and thanks a lot for the useful links.

I actually prefer not to install the sidle molding ( but i don't hate it ), but after I made some deep scratch and found out it is really hard to make it invisible ( i did putty, paint and clear coat, but I still can see different color in some angel ), i am thinking to put the side molding to cover it , and to prevent future dent and scratches.
