urgent radio ?

in less than 5 hours i have to pick up a line output convertor. How many speakers are in the JBL w/o Nav system? And where are they all, I can account for 6.

Second, will i be hooking the loc up in front of the amp?

according to the wiring diagram there are only 4 speakers wires coming out of the radio, R+ R- L+ L- is this correct?

so is the amp also a crossover?

On the upscale radio might be RL +/-, RR +/-, FL +/-, FR +/-.

2 speakers each on FL and FR.

For a total of 6 speakers.

The converter hooks up to the wires going to the speakers to creat a much lower output signal for input to a seperate amp. I think the units just reduce the signal level of the input and don't cross over the signal.

I'm using a much higher quality line output convertor, one that would allow me to input an amplified signal. So theroretically i could convert the signal after the factory amp if i choose.

two in the front doors
two in the rear deck

that makes 6, where are the other 2? it says 8 speakers with premium sound

Aren't the front doors a mid and a high (2)?

I'm skimming through the manual and its showing two different speakers for the dash. One is for the standard and one for the premium audio.
