Gen6 Any trans reflashes for a 12/07 build date V6?

My Camry's transmission is starting to flare up more frequently now, it used to do it once every now and then. But now i can almost always manipulate it with sequential shift, it flares from 2-3 and sometimes rarely 3-4. Its not a bad flare, but its about 3-5 hundred RPM's. So if there are any TSB's for a 12/07 build date V6 please let me know. And before i get flamed, i searched and found nothing.

Our 07 XLE flares almost everyu time out. Toyota says it's normal so we've deceided to sell our normal Toyota and go for Nissan.

mine flares a lot as well. its mostly at slower speeds around 10-15 mph, but its been flaring the entire time ive driven it. im so used to it now. i own an 07 XLE i4, and it had about 20k miles b4 i drove it (mostly highway miles cuz my dad took it to LA a lot cuz of the Bluetooth). im thinking about taking it to Toyota and maybe seeing if they can do something, ANYTHING, altho it doesnt bother me much.

Good luck!! We tried everything short of arbitration. Toyota doesnt's seem to be very interested in keeping customers happy.

I thought flare only happens when engine/tranny are cold (first or second time it shifts) and it is for 6 speed V6 only. I don't think you are experiencing flare.
My 06 solara has sequential shift too (5sp tranny) but it does funky thing when it shifts as you described especially if you play with the sequential shifts (I drove few latest camrys and solara and they all do thet if you really pay attention to tachometer really close). I was concerned about that the the beginning too and took it to the dealer few times. After 40K and still shifts and feel the same, I don't even bother anymore.
It seems all late toyota transmission do that (up around 300 rpm before itactually shifts).

My 08 has been geting A LOT worse as well.I went to the dealer once a while ago and they didn't even take a look at it. The service manager said that "there is nothing we can do about that." I just don't have the time to go to war with toyota...

Guys, Having just finished reading the procedures for Transmission Fluid Level Check and how critical it is to proper transmission operation . It might be worth while to have them check this. Your thoughts?

I am taking mine in again on friday. If they don't try something I'm filling a claim for what it's worth. I am also getting low mpg, but that is probably due to my lead foot...

My V6 2007 Camry (purchased in 12/06 - build in 9/06 I believe) flared for the first time tonight as I was leaving a light. It scared the hell out of me and now I am worried!!! I have 17,000 miles and it just seemed incredibility random - the car had been driven for like 30 minutes so temp was definately not a factor.

If this keeps occurring, should I just live with it? It sounds like the people who were lucky enough to get the dealer to look at it only made the problem worse or no change.
