2008 Camry Bumper Help

Hey guys,
Recently got hit in the bumper. Only the plastic is damaged nothing else. Now local shop charging me about $1,200 for the full repair... Now i was wondering if that's fair price and will it be cheaper to do it my self...? Ive seen bumper online for under $300...I think to paint it will be same price...let me know what you guy suggest...

Thanks,
DJ

Do you have an SE?

There are 3 pieces to that rear bumper.

They lie about being the cheapest.........but probably cheaper if you are in LA and there is no shipping.
